Hand-stitched leather dog collar
This handmade leather dog collar is crafted and hand-stitched from start to finish with great care for both function and durability.

Materials and craftsmanship
The collars are made from Hermann Oak leather, a renowned American vegetable-tanned leather considered among the finest for handcrafted goods. Hermann Oak is known for its consistent quality, strength, and ability to age beautifully. Over time, the leather becomes softer and more supple while retaining its shape and durability – a leather that only becomes more beautiful with use.

Each collar is hand-stitched using traditional saddle stitching with waxed Ritza Tiger Thread, a method known for its strength and long lifespan compared to machine stitching. The stitching is not only an aesthetic choice but a deliberate prioritization of quality and durability.

The leather is dyed with Fiebing’s Pro Dye, and all edges are sanded, rounded, and polished by hand to achieve a refined finish.

The buckle and D-ring are made from solid brass, which is durable, develops a natural patina over time, and complements the look of the leather.

The collar you receive is made to order and will therefore not be identical to the one shown. As each collar is made by hand, small, natural variations in the leather’s texture, color depth, and finish should be expected – this is part of what makes each piece unique.
