Hand-sewn leather dog collar

This handmade leather dog collar is crafted and hand-stitched from start to finish with great care for both function and durability. Each collar is hand-stitched using traditional saddle stitching (hand-stitched saddle stitch) with waxed thread , a method known for its strength and longevity compared to machine stitching. The stitching is not just an aesthetic choice, but a conscious priority for quality and durability.

Materials and craftsmanship

The collars are made from Hermann Oak® leather , a renowned American vegetable tanned leather that is considered one of the finest leathers for handmade equipment. Hermann Oak is known for its consistent quality, strength and ability to age beautifully. The leather becomes softer and more supple over time, while maintaining its shape and durability – a leather that only gets better with use.

Details and fit

Buckles and D-ring are made of cast brass , which is durable and patinas naturally over time and fits harmoniously with the look of the leather.

The images on the product page are model photos and show a size XS collar in the color Saddle Tan . The collar you receive is made to order and will therefore not be the same as the one in the photo. As each collar is handmade, slight, natural variations in the leather's texture, depth of color and finish are to be expected - exactly what makes each collar unique.

This collar is made to order. The expected production time is 2–6 weeks , depending on the current order volume.
