Handmade hand-embossed dog collar

This dog collar is handmade and hand-sewn from start to finish with great care for durability, comfort and detail. The collar has a discreet, embossed pattern that gives an exclusive and timeless expression without taking focus away from the natural character of the leather.

Each collar is hand-sewn using traditional saddle stitching (hand-sewn saddle stitch) in waxed thread, a technique known for its strength and longevity. The stitching is not just an aesthetic choice, but a conscious choice for maximum durability compared to machine sewing.

Materials and craftsmanship

The collar is made from Hermann Oak® vegetable tanned leather, which is known for its consistent quality, strength and ability to age beautifully. Over time, the leather becomes softer and more supple, while maintaining its shape and durability - a leather that only gets better with use.

Details and fit

For added comfort, the collar is lined with black leather over a core of Plastazote® , which is used as the inner padding material. Plastazote is a lightweight and water-repellent material that does not absorb moisture and retains its shape over time. This construction provides a soft and comfortable lining, while the collar remains durable and suitable for daily use.

The buckle and D-ring are made of cast brass with a matte black coating, which gives a raw, elegant look and patinas discreetly over time. The combination of the embossed leather and the dark metal parts gives the collar an exclusive and balanced look.

The images on the product page are model photos and show a size L collar. The collar you receive is made to order and will therefore not be identical to the one shown. As each collar is handmade, slight, natural variations in the leather's structure, depth of color and finish are to be expected - precisely what makes each collar unique.

The collar is made to order, and the expected production time is 2–6 weeks, depending on the current order load.
